SECLUDED
Located opposite a vineyard on a north-facing 2,000 m2 block within walking distance Cowaramup town centre, this was a perfect blank canvas for a LOOP home.

The 136 m2 3x2 home was strategically positioned to be protected from the prevailing cold southerlies while still capturing the north winter sun and vineyard outlook. Creating a beautiful courtyard effect with a distinctive wrap around verandah connecting all rooms to a common outdoor area blending seamlessly, indoor and outdoor living.

Utilising re-cycled bush poles was a dynamic feature of the design for the posts, adding a rustic charm to the house whilst complimenting the Heritage Galv. cladding.

This cladding acts both as a reference to the traditional buildings of the area and also offering surprising reflections and shadowing of the surrounding landscape.

This project was a seamless collaboration between LOOP Design & Build and the owners.
