TREETON HOUSE
Treeton is half an hour from the coast, in the rolling hills of the Margaret River region. The house is beautifully located on the top of a ridge, enjoying spectacular views of a quintessential Australian landscape.
North facing, a series of discreet spaces organized to suit the clients’ requirements resulted in a customized house unique for them. Deep verandahs providing full protection from the summer and autumn heat, while still allowing the sun to warm the concrete slab in all the rooms in winter.
Materials of heritage Galv. and hardwood timbers were chosen for their local vernacular, empowering the home with a wonderful sense of place. A locally made Galv. Truss enhances the dialogue between outback shed and contemporary dwelling.
After a year of camping on the block the family are looking forward to embracing a new chapter in their lives, whilst maintaining their deep connection to the land.
