HARDWOOD HOUSE
This design was especially close to our hearts as our clients are long-time Cowaramup residents.
Image
The brief was in response to their preference for local materials and a contemporary design that suits the surrounding environment, particularly the National Trust bush opposite the site.

We also aimed to create a house that will adapt with their family needs. In particular accommodating 3 kids, soon to be teenagers , and the space required for harmonious growth.

The 159m2 4x2 home was strategically placed within the corner block to utilise the view of the National Trust bush, whilst still maintaining privacy.

Another important factor was to develop the land to incorporate an art studio and a comprehensive workshop.

Utilising recycled materials, we moulded contemporary design practices with old-school homely appeal. To create a unique design that is indicative of the owners’ personalities.
